We can't believe it, we are turning 16! Yes that's right, every Saturday for the last 16 years 1985 has brought pure 80s joy to the dancefloors of Brighton and continues to do so every Saturday at The Green Door Store. To celebrate this massive milestone we are putting on a one off very special event in collaboration with our friends at White Wall Cinema, Brighton's year round pop up cinema crew.

Not only are we hijacking their next 'Secret Movie Club' event to bring you a mystery cult classic from the decade, but the event will begin with a special pre-show 1985 extended audio visual mixtape journey though the 80s, chronicling the styles, the action, the heartaches, the faces, the fads and the (often questionable) genius of that most glitteringly ludicrous of decades that was the 80s.

We can't wait for you to join us for all that followed by a screening an 80s classic movie that lies just off the beaten path, i.e. something a bit less obvious than standard oft. replayed classics like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, or Top Gun but still rich in that magical ingredient of pure 80s style fun. In fact the movie we have picked was one of the original inspirations for creating the night 16 years ago!

Don't miss out on this very special night of celebrations for Brighton's longest running weekly night at this can't miss Good Friday event.
